Well isn't that a good news, I've been wondering how long his ankle injury is going to last. Not that I have doubts about Jaro, he's been very solid the last few games. But in the long run, your team cannot play without your number one goaltender. I also find it curious that he is suddenly getting better after the declaration of Guy Carbonneau to the press the other day. Recommending Price to not participate in the All-Star Game if he hasn't played a game first. And I agree with that, it doesn't make since to play in the All-Star Game and have the possibility to worsen your injury. I am sure that the Montreal fans will forgive him if he misses the game and understand that it is the right decision to make. We would rather see him miss a game with no meaning on the standings and have him well recovered to play the rest of the season and the playoffs.
About the last game versus the Preds, lets face it, the game was pretty boring. It was so boring that even the players fell asleep. There was little scoring chances, almost no action at all. To the point where we almost let this one slip away from us. The only exciting part of the game was the last few seconds when the Habs had an empty net to shoot in and couldn’t burry it. Kovalev, Markov and Lang all missed the empty net. Funny thing is, Carbo made the players practice their shooting in an empty net during the practice session afterwards. Let's hope we would get a better game tonight versus the Sens who won their last two games. We can't underestimate them. Even though they had a terrible season so far, their top line can still do heavy damage and surprise us in games like this. The Habs have to be prepared and play hard against them. Go Habs Go!
