The captain and assistant captain are back from their injuries and training with the team. We are starting to have an overload of players on the team, and Carbo will have some hard decisions to make since the team is doing so well right now. Who is going to be sent back down to Hamilton? Chipchura, Pacioretty, D’agostini or Stewart? How are the lines going to be? What about their ice time? It will be interesting to see how Carbo deals with this situation because it is a positive problem that all coaches would love to have. I think the Habs had a pretty good opportunity to evaluate their young prospect during the absence of veteran players. Pacioretty and D’agostini have done well and have impressed a lot of people proving that they can play in the NHL. Stewart had done great in his only game. As for Chipchura, I was a little disappointed by his performance. I don’t expect him to contribute offensively, but at least show me some intensity. I will not be surprised if Chipchura and Stewart are the first to go back down to Hamilton when Saku and Higgins are ready to go play. As for the lines, since Lang’s and Lapierre’s line are doing so great, I’m sure they will stay intact. Even if Plecky’s line is not contributing as much as we hope so, but I don’t think Carbo will do any change with them yet. Therefore, Saku will most likely play with Higgins and D’agostini. We would have four awesome lines that can contribute offensively!!! Just by looking at the lineup, I am scared for the opposing teams. How are they going to go against our lines? They won’t know which lines to watch out for since anyone of them can score. The best is still to come Habs fans!! GO HABS GO!!
