La Presse has learned from an informant very close to the sale situation of the Montreal Canadiens that there is currently four groups who are very interested in buying the Canadiens, the Bell Center and the Gillett Entertainment Group. There are two groups from Quebec and two from USA. The two Quebec groups are led by Quebecor and Serge Savard. Also according to this source, the Habs could be sold by mid-june.
