The Montreal Canadiens and the Bell Center are officially for sale according to SRC (Radio-Canada). They have learned today that about 10 buyers are showing interest in purchasing the arena and the NHL franchise team.
BMO Capital Markets, who was asked to evaluate the future of the Montreal Canadiens and the Bell Center, have identified 50 potential buyers. They would have until 5:00 pm Thursday to submit their offer to the Gillett family.
SRC have also learned that 10 companies have signed a confidentiality agreement to analyse the case.
