Patrick Roy Would Listen to the Canadiens

In an interview with CKAC radio station, Patrick Roy told them that if he would receive a call from the Montreal Canadiens to be coach, he will listen to what they have to say. Back when Guy Carbonneau was still the head coach, Patrick Roy kept on saying that he wasn't interested in the position, and wished that Carbo would stay head coach of the Habs for a long time. But now, a few months later, after the firing of his good friend Guy Carbonneau, Patrick Roy finally opens the door to the possibility of coaching the Montreal Canadiens. He also added that coaching the Habs is an interesting challenge for any coach.

Roy also played the GM when he was asked who he would see the best fit as the head coach. He believes that Bob Hartley could do a very good job. He has experience, he is an excellent professor, he is passionate of hockey and is probably the person that knows the game the most that he has seen. He would be the perfect candidate for the Canadiens.
