François Beauchemin Going UFA

According to François Beauchemin's agent, Robert Sauvé, he believes that his client will most likely test the unrestricted free agent market because the Ducks' top priority is to sign Scott Niedermayer. Sauvé believes that Niedermayer will stay in Anaheim and the Ducks won't have enough cap space to sign Beauchemin afterwards. They will wait and see what happens with Niedermayer before looking elsewhere.

Could Beauchemin sign as a UFA with the Montreal Canadiens? It would be a very good alternative for Gainey if he is unable to sign Mike Komisarek. Full article here

But ESPN says that the Pens are interested in Beauchemin. Source
