George Laraque Wants to be Traded

During the Montreal Canadiens practice today, George Laraque told the media that he was unsatisfied with the number of games he has played so far. He said that if he knew he would be in this situation last summer, he wouldn't have signed in Montreal. He said that he was expecting to play every game, especially with the salary that he is making. He doesn't want to be in and out of the line up like this. He also added, if he is unable to play every game when there are many injuries in the team, he doesn't expect to play much after they are back. In that case he says, he is better off playing for another team who requires his help. He claims that Carbo doesn't seem to like using tough players like him. Therefore, Laraque expects to be traded before the trade deadline.

  1. GOOD....finally he is realizing he is junk and we don't need him. We could trade him for a pack of hockey sticks or a washing machine. FYI he needs to learn how to skate

  2. Actually I do believe we need him, but only in the playoffs or against physical teams. Like you said, Laraque doesn't skate fast enough, so he can't keep up against fast teams.
