On TSN, Darren Dreger said that he has spoken with Kovalev. Alex said that he didn't talk to anybody, he would never talk about his teammates. His focus is on getting back in the line up with the Canadiens. About his future, he says he's nobody, and doesn't control anything. All he can do is to come back and play better and help the team.
Bob Mckenzie added that some NHL teams, who were interested in Kovalev, asked Bob Gainey if he was available. The answer is : "He is not available right now.". Mckenzie claims that the Habs GM wants to get Kovalev back in the line up and see how he is going to play.
According to RDS, Kovalev will be back with the team on friday for practice. But we still don't know if he will be in the line up, that decision is up to Carbo.
